Chris "Duffy" Belfield has spent more than 14 years working in cloud and infrastructure, and focuses on fixing the systems underneath compliant, production-ready environments. AI is part of the current toolset, but the foundation of the work is still cloud architecture, security, delivery, and operations. The work combines architecture direction with direct implementation across AWS, Azure, Hetzner, secure delivery, operational controls, data residency, and production systems.

The through-line is simple: do not separate security from architecture, and do not separate compliance from operations. Teams move faster when the system is designed properly in the first place.

I work best when the challenge is bigger than one isolated technical fix: platform decisions that affect delivery, compliance work that needs to live inside engineering, or AI-enabled systems that have to be production-ready and commercially defensible at the same time.
